Dr. Kellie Broughton

Dr. Kellie Broughton brings a wealth of knowledge and innovation to her role as an Osteopath. She completed a Bachelor of Clinical Science at Australia’s sought after Victoria University; as well as completing a Masters of Osteopathy. Equipped with a broad range of understanding in her field, Kellie has extensive training and experience in paediatric osteopathy, pregnancy and development and sports related injuries. With extensive, ‘hands on’ experience, Dr. Kellie has managed numerous sporting teams in Melbourne, responsible for the treatment and rehabilitation of sports-related injuries. Kellie encompasses an enthusiastic and professional approach with all of her patients.
Kellie has trained extensively in anatomy, physiology, pathology and general medical diagnosis in addition to general Osteopathic technique as part of her 5 year University course. For the past 3 years, Kellie has been broadening her Osteopathic skills working in Singapore. While in Singapore Kellie treated a variety of conditions. including sporting injuries, work and ergonomic related injuries, postural issues, pregnancy related conditions and pediatric and developmental conditions

Developed by Andrew Taylor Still, a Doctor of medicine in the 1870’s, Osteopathy is a "whole body" system of manual therapy, based on biomechanical principles. Osteopathy uses a wide range of techniques to treat musculo-skeletal problems and other functional disorders of the body.
Having completed a Master of Osteopathy focusing on Paediatrics and attended numerous Paediatric courses, Dr. Kellie has a special interest in treating infants and children. Using a range of gentle techniques Osteopathy is commonly used as a non-invasive treatment for children from birth to adulthood.
